When and how much did you pay for your Ranger?

On October 19, 2009 I bought this 96 Ranger with 107,000 miles (4.0, XLT, AT, 4X4) for $2700. And I sure do miss it.

I bought it on FRIDAY THE 13th, June 13 2003, for $13,000 and it had 13,000 miles on it!

If a guy in a hockey mask asks for a ride just say no and if you've had any drugs, alcohol, or sex while in the truck, I'm sorry but you're probably not gonna make it to the end of the movie.

Bought my 1999 4x4 with 123k miles on it a few months ago. paid $3500 for it. Good price for around here. I had to do a few repairs to it as expected for a used truck. I got her running good now though and plan on putting many more miles on it.

Got my around 8-10 months ago for $3500
fuel gauge,speedomiter didn't work
4x4 still not working
bad headgasket

1200 bucks in Late December 09. 135K and fresh paint (but bondo filled fenders that've since cracked)

Works for me!

Same price, same bondo but in 2000.

I bought my 84 from my folks back in 92 for 2500. It was a great little truck bone stock, so I knew it was a keeper. I have around 8-9000 in all the upgrades, but the stroker was half of that. Now it does the sand kicking at the beach. Sorry no pics (digital photography was non-existence to me back then), but here it is now....

Guess I'll be the 1st 1 owner of the thread:

May 16th, 1994 at Mountain View Ford. Paid $11,999 before taxes. Traded a 1987 Tempo in on it. She had 4.9 miles on the odometer and that lovely new car smell.........

Oh, gas was $1.05 a gal then too!

bought my '93 4.0 s/c 4x4 in '03, had 60, 000 miles on it at the time, was $12,000. way too much, but was exactly what i wanted & a new one was double that at the time. now has 150,000 miles on it, hasnt been as trouble-free as my '88 ranger was, but im still very happy with it. the '88 was a 2wd 2.3 s/c, bought it in '91 with 100,000 miles on it, had it 7 years & put another 103,000 on it. paid $7,500 for it. fuel sipper, but not much tourque for hills or towing.

i bought a 88 2wd ranger 2 years ago for 250 clean strait but sold it for 900 after a year :icon_thumby:

Geeze, I don't even remember what I paid for the truck. The original agreement was for about $2000. I may have paid $500-700 of that, almost 11 years ago now.

I paid $600 for the BII about 1.5 years ago.

I picked up my '01 a few months ago for $2000. 4.0l, auto, 2wd, supercab, just under 100k miles. It needed about $3-400 worth of work to be roadworthy.

I bought my '94 Ranger 18 years & 10 months ago. Paid I think $17,100 for it, had 0.007K miles when I got it if I recall correct. :D

My '90 BII I bought 8 years & 11 months ago. Paid $1500, had 140K miles on it. Was all stock.

Bought my 06 Ranger sport in jan 2010 for $9500 off the lot with 44,ooo on the clock.
