thats what i was thinkin. snap shots of the license plates are a good way to get in trouble. well if they didnt have permission, hope they get cought.

otherwise, looks like fun.

i am the foreman on the site, so i say i have permission

NICE

on the topic of pulling out, especially with yank straps, it's not recommended to 'back pull', or pull with the front as the white ranger is doing. driveline is not set up for it, etcetc. Just ask CheapThrills. Glad you got him out thought!

nice, PS never pull like that, i did it one time the strap broke and came through the front windsheild and the hook almost got me.

Idk... :dunno: my dad pulled out 4 or 5 small pine tree like shrub bush things that were extremely well rooted with his 86 ranger backward when I was a kid. He said that his truck pulls excellently backwards, that the engine and trans gave it better traction. Oh and yeah he was using a chain and jerked them out of the ground really fast, it scared me as I love his ranger  .

PERHAPS if he used a veryvery short line that might be an alright idea, but otherwise is is unwise, more dangerous to people and components than pulling with the rear of the truck

Nice tow strap(s) you have there, you should invest in a good tow strap instead of what looks to be rope.

How the hell did he get stuck in that? Is he 2wd also?
As far as towing with the front, I won't do it unless absolutely necessary. Besides the drive train etc, I don't have near the pulling power in reverse that I do in drive.

yea he is 2wd he just was too heavy, and his rope used to be one a tug boat, just its dry rotted, so it broke, quiet a few times, my strap is unbreakable, it is 3 engine hoist strapps used for lifting diesel engines out of boats, i snagged them from the shop shhhhh dont let my dad kno lmao

I figured he was 2wd and just too heavy on those stock skinnies. I wish I had a construction site I could go out and play in!

they are in the process of finishing the fill, the zoners are coming out next week, so i might go there this weekend, mayb
