I got some used 33” Pro Comp Xterrain on 15X10 – 5 on 5.5 rims, the tires are in great shape. Ok no problem I will get some wheel adapters so they will fit. So I now have 1.25” wheel adapters, BUT my wheel studs are to long about 1/16” and I can not return them.

Can I get shorter wheel studs or cut them?

My 6” class 2 Skyjacker lift will be here in a week and I just have enough money in my budget for the wheel alignment. Help….

This is my opinion and nothing more, ditch the spacers sell the wheels and use that money to get another set of wheels with the right pattern. I lost a wheel doing about 75 mph because the nuts decided to lose their threads...doesn't sounds like a big deal until you think you just had a blowout and your tire passes you on the highway. Spacers are dangerous!

+1 I have a buddy that had a bad experience with the spacer which was similar to your story.

Are you concerned about a backspacing issue as in the tires rubbing?

I say don't chance it, return/sell the spacers, sell the wheels on craigslist. and if worst come to worst (for your budget) get some steel wheels that are only about 70 bucks a pop that are black and 1000000x safer.

Thank you. I am going to have the tires removed and sell rims and spacers.
