On my 04 edge i am running 265/75/16 on the stock wheels and with the edge flairs the tires are tucked under the truck too much for my liking. Is anyone running a 1.5-2" spacer to push the tires out any further? Any pics. I would go w 8" wide wheels but i think the stock 7" help my fuel milage(20 on the hwy) and i kinda like the stock 5 stars.

i asked about this before.. if you have the same as my replys i hope your wearing a flame-proof vest.
theyre supposedly dangerous, and a offset rim would be much better. but i have no experience with the spacers

i ran 2" spacers on my 78 malibu when i owned it without issue. i didnt go off roading of course but the car saw plenty of street use and "spirited" driving. having said that, i wish i had have gone with a different set of wheels with the proper backspacing.

A quality spacer does not bother me. A fiend of mine runs a set on his F350 plow truck. I think if there would be an issue w spacers, he would of had them
