so i have a bronco2 and i have just recently accuired some brand new 30in a/t tires with custom wheels off a jeep....however the offset of the wheel causes my tires to rub on the inside....like the upper spring cup? ( not shur what its called exsactly) so anyways my question is are wheel spacers a good thing i feel like i have heard bad stuff about them like they mess up ur wheel barings or something... or should i just try and find some differnt offset wheels....cash is really tight right now so thats a factor 2...

for the money, i would think it would be better to get spacers. just make sure you torque them right!!! and recheck them every so often. you can get new steel wheels for about $55 each, but its up to you.

thanks

yeah i know that spacers would be cheaper and will be my option if there are no negative effects...do you guys know of anny negative affects from useing spacers?

my thinking is. if your tire is out 6" from lets say the outside bearings, the torque on those bearings is the same weather its an adaptor or just a rim.

i am not 100% positive on that. but it sounds right to me.

" 2' out from center is 2' weather breaker bar or cheater bar"
