So I'm thinking about painting the wheel well flares. I've read plenty about using the Krylon Plastic spray paint. But I was wondering if anyone has tried painting plastic parts with some of that bedliner in a can. Seems like it would be better suited to protect against debris thrown up by the tires, but might not stick to the plastic.

Any thoughts?

i ran mine for a while with the bedliner sprayed on, and it actually did really well dont believe any ever came off and i rubbed them a few good times

just make sure to scuff them up real good to get it to stick

I'm not sure if this is what you were planning on doing but this is what I did on my old f150. I did it on metal but im sure as long as you prep it well it will stick. I also used herculiner, I tested it with the spray can stuff on an old fender and it faded to gray within a week. I just saw my old truck around town and it still looked black on the bottom, and I did that about 3 years ago.

Nevermind the F250 badge, 3/4 ton axles were the next project for that truck when I took the picture, but then I sold it.
