wheel bolt pattern conversion

I have an 88 ranger stx. i have a wagoneer dana 44 with 4:56 gearing. I recently obtained 38/15.5/18 wheels and tires but they have a 8x170mm bolt pattern. any ideas how i can convert my already converted front axle? I will not use wheel adapters, i dont trust them.

Get Dana 44 8 lug knuckles or just buy new rims

Yea dude...check craigs list...you could sell the ones you have now and just get new ones....save the hassle and the rigging.

8x170 is a metric bolt pattern used by Ford on the Superduty pickups.

You're looking for new wheels here if you do not want adapters.
