I'm not going to argue but I EXTREMELY doubt that a computer program worth more than a brand new car is going to have false information from vehicle manufacturers. I looked up a 96 Ranger 4x4 4.0 w/ manual hubs. Either way no problem, just trying to help.

Again - neither of you are wrong. AllData is not saying anything about tightening the inner bearing. It's saying to tighten the inner of the two wheelbearing nuts.
