Wheel and tires

I have a 1998 ford ranger 2wd single cab short bed and it has 205/75-14 size tires on it and i was wanting to put 15 inch wheels with the factory ranger size tires on them which is i belive 215/75-15s? I was curious on how much doing that would affect my speedo?

If it would actually affect the speedo, it would give it back to the factory calibration if the wheels the truck was designed for were 215/75-15s. But probably won't be hell of difference from 14s to 15s.

your speedo would read 7% slow, so if your speedo said you were going 50 you would be going 53.5 (doubt stock one is that accurate), not that big of a deal just remember that when you calculate gas mileage...
