Wheel adapters?

I just bought a set of 2015 Jeep Wrangler wheels and tires for a very good price (new takeoffs). The bolt pattern on the wheels is 5X5, and I know that I can buy adapters to convert my truck to just bolt these wheels on. Anyone have any experience, positive or negative with these adapters? I think they will help with the difference in offset between my stock wheels and the Jeep wheels as well. Any advice would be appreciated; its really about the same cost to break the tires off of both sets of wheels and mount the new tires on my stock wheels, or buy the adapters and keep the jeep wheels, which I like better anyway.

You can use wheel adapters but they are not highly recommended as they can put more stress on the wheel bearing.

^^^ While this is mostly true, I think with the wheel offset of the jeep rim an adapter will just bring the wheel back to the stock placement. It's up to the owner to verify.
