Just snagged my first Ranger! 1991 2.3L Sport, 7ft bed, 2WD automatic, 4th owner. It's a Rebuilt Salvage title, thing was totaled with 17k miles on it two years after it was bought in 91. 183k miles on it now.

Guy I got it from put in a reman engine about 30k miles ago and replaced the rear axle with one with a higher gear ratio, along with new brake lines. Interior is clean clean. Minimal frame rust but the body and spring mounts look like graham crackers and driver seat is falling through the cab floor. Body work is my favorite though so I got some fun ahead of me. Trans is leaky and shifts hard too so I see a rebuild in the near future. Other than that, she's solid. Definitely a better daily than the 10" lifted Bronco I have. I always wanted a lifted Ranger but with having the Bronco I'm gonna bring the Ranger up to a good stock baseline and enjoy the lower ride. Definitely will be a fun project!

Just wanted to make this introduction post and thank the Ranger Station for being an indispensable resource! I've already been putting a bunch of time in at the Tech Library🤙
