AND YES WEEZL.....in your case---Playboy will count as a "Book".....

My fav-0-rite book is the bible.....read it 21 times...(the first 2 times don't count cause I read it just to have a good laugh ;missingteeth; )

i couldnt tell you how many times i've read it over the years, but the pages are starting to come apart.

Christine by Stephen King, read it twice, but would defiantly read it again if I could find it

Well, the Bible rates number one...

As for fiction...I've read Tom Clancy's Netforce about four times...it's the only book that I've read more than twice...other than that...Lee Child's Jack Reacher series...I've read a couple of them twice...

As for pseudo-science...I've read A Brief History of Time a few times...especially when I can't sleep...I'm dozing within five pages...:)

i've read this at least twice a year since i got it 11 years ago, i got a second copy for christmas because the first one was falling apart

Read it three times, which is doing good IMO because I have had it three years. :icon_twisted:

I do think large parts of that book could be interchanged with my Ranger though...

I don't have a favorite ........ I do have a list of books I will not read again...... and a list I will read over and over again .......

the one I have spent the most time reading is the bible ....... the book I have the most times cover to cover is The Walking Drum by Louis L'Amour and Battle Field Earth......

I think my #1 book has to be Jack London's Call of the Wild. I haven't read it for years, but I read it at least once a year from about 5th grad until I graduated high school.

The LOTR Trilogy rates a close second but I only read that once.

Streetheart by Richard Ford. He was a local author and the story takes place in the 50s in the small town around me, i got it about 3 years ago and i think i have read it like 5 or 6 times. Wish i could get another copy but the only ones available right now are lik $40 and it was a 1 time print, and he passed away last year so probably won't make any more. (It has 51 Ford Victoria crashing through a heart if anyone want to read it, which i deffinately recomend, or if you find one cheap i will buy it from you.)

I HAVE QUITE A FEW I LOVE, hard to choose between flight of the old dog by dale brown, starship troopers By robert heinlein, and enders game by orson scott card

God Is My Co-Pilot By Robert L. Scott. A story about the American Volunteer Group (AVG) Flying Tigers In China. First read it in 7th grade. Little did I know that I would be assigned to the 23RD Tac. Fighter Wing many years later. They still had the sharks teeth painted on the nose of the A-10's we worked on. I have read the book seven or eight times. About time to dig it out and read it again.

"Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance" I've read it probably 20-25 times since the 70s. It has very little to do with either Zen or Motorcycle maintenance but it is quite a read. Gotta read it again this year!

Stormy Weather by Carl Hiaasen. I like all of his stuff. I also like Elmore Leonard. Tishamingo Blues, for instance. I re-read these guys a lot.

I've read the Hitchhiker trilogy several times, and also the Lord of the Rings books.

I also re-read my own when I need motivation to keep working.
