Seems like a lot, especially for such a short frame. Kinda wonder if something isn't different between the BII and Ranger frames to acount for BII's body providing extra strength.

Rear swaybars will make frame flex worse too.

Mine flexes like that as well.......

Just the short frame releasing some of the flex......

All of the rangers I've owned have flexed like that. Some of it is the cab mount bushings compressing and some of it is the frame flexing. Most of the rangers in my area that are over 15 years old have the cab mounts rotted out and they get that really bad. My 85 longbed's cab and bed will kiss each other when it flexes.

Its because of the c frame not a full box frame.

That's what they do.

An SUV body is better because it bridges the frame from front to rear. Pickups have a seperate body from bed so you get that ugly twist in the frame.

Except a Honda Ridgeline. I just need to find a way to put a gooseneck ball in the lid of the in-bed cooler.

Lmfao! ^ do you have any build pix of that BII ranger? Took me a minute to realize it was a BII frame until I saw the rear tank.

alright thanks! good to know that its normal and nothing to be too worried about.

mechanickid, i cant take credit for the chop job because I bought it this way this summer in ND. Some old guy got bored and did the work. its a bronco II chassis with a ranger body but its bed is shortened and more frame has been added to the rear end lol. How it stays all together...i have no idea hahaha. its even got a sunroof held in place by wooden blocks
