Whats tied into the ecu in an 07?

I'm wondering what functions are handled by the ecu beyond fuel and spark.

For example is the abs/ebfd? is the AC? is the airbag system? or does the ecu simply run the motor?

the ecu does everything. everything some how is tied in to it.
