what is this other tube hanging on trans besides the vent tube? someone has it plugged off with a bolt. (a4ld)

On the ones that I worked on they had one tube not counting cooling and dip stick.The transfer case has a vent hose sticking out that should be clipped up somewhere.The manual ones are on the linkage I can't remember where the electric hook up.
