I was wondering whats the number one all terrain tire. Thanks

there isn't one. it all depends on what you want out of an at, what you drive, how you drive, where you drive, etc... Personally though, i like the Firestone destination ats. for the tow rig i run Firestone transforce ats

yea i really like the Firestone destinations too. theyre gonna be for a 1999 ford ranger 2.5 L. 4cylinder. i do occasional off roading . I just want them to look nice a as well.

General Grabber AT2. A lot of tire for the price

I have a set of BFG MTs (old design). I treat them like AT tires; drive everywhere with them and they never disappoint me.

I love my Nitto Tera Grapplers on my F350

+1 on general grabber at2's mine now have around 45 thousand miles on them and are still have decent tread life left. I actually just drove from Ohio to western Montana with them for the second cross country trip running them this year. I have loved mine, keep them rotated and they'll never quit.

Also have never had a flat on them, and I do give them some decent use off road, and they have a little rock rash on the walls.

I'm a BFG fan but Goodyear wraglers are nice. I see alot of ranger owners with hard on for KM2s but those are more of a mud tire.

yeah either bfg at's or firestone at's.
i have firestone's on my b2 now.. and i'm never let down by them. they will out perform your expectations of them...

bfg's have a little better look if you're a mall crawler tho! lol

Seems to me like the BFG all terrains are the standard pick for nice AT's. That's what I've got and I love em. If you're in the IL/WI area, find a farm n fleet and figure out when their next buy 3 get 1 free sale is. That's how I got mine. 31 BFG AT's installed for $599.

I'm a bfg guy. I've got a set of 32x11.5s on and they work great. I just tried them in the snow for the first time and was really surprised. For as wide of a tire and as light as the truck is they didn't float at all. They dug right in. I didn't even need 4x4.

i ran bfg's in 235/75R15 and followed a 4x4 with 32" mud tires. i was so impressed im getting a set of 33x10.50R15 LT put on this week.

BF Goodrich All Terrain will always win my vote. often imitated, but never duplicated. as for the guys using general grabbers, its a copy of the bfg tread. i ran 15,000 kms on them without seeing any signs of wear.

only time i ever got stuck:

truck was on the front tires and rear bumper.
