whats that noise?

when getting in my truck this morning i noticed that when i push my clutch in there is a distinct whine that comes from underneath my truck. if i am in neutral and let the clutch out the noise goes away but if the clutch is pushed in while in neutral or in gear the noise comes back and i also notice is seems to go away at slow speeds but comes back at higher speeds like above 20 mph does anyone know that this might be i was thinking it could be the clutch but it doesnt seem to be slipping at all and now im wondering if it could be the throw out bearing. does anyone have any input? it would be greatly appreciated

thanks guys i checked the power steering fluid thinking maybe thats where the noise was coming from but no luck. Im guessing you guys are right unfortunately. by chance does anyone know how much a new bearing will cost and how hard would it be to put in my self using basic tools at home?

Basic tools need to include jack stands and a transmission jack (realatively cheap from Harbor Freight). While your changing the throwout bearing, you might want to change the slave cylinder at the same time. It dosen't cost a whole bunch more to change since you can purchase the slave cylinder with the throwout bearing attached. You might like to change out the pilot bearing and check your clutch while your there.
