1988 Ford ranger XLT 2.9L V6 5 SPEED 4X4. I think some type of vacuum line went here but i have no clue just bought this truck over the weekend! This is on the driver side of the engine on valve over!

Breather. PCV goes on the passenger side on a 2.9.
There is a big plastic breather fitting that goes in there and then a hose goes from it to the intake.
