on july 3rd i was speeding down the major road in my town, speed limit 40, i passed 65 and was heading to 70 when a light turns red and i am going to fast to stop so i blow a red light and turn right, my truck passing half in the bike lane and half in the number 2 lane , i came so close to the bmw stopped their i thought mirrors where gonna die

right after i turn, i look in my mirror to see lights, i swerve as i fish my liscence place up off the floor and put it on the dash, completely forgeting to put on my seatbelt. i pull over and wait for the worst figuring im f- ed

cop takes my info and asked wat i did, i say i made a dumb mistake officer, he goes to his car and comes back and says hapy fourth of july and lets me go

i thank the officer and drive off... once he is out of site i call my buddy ( illegal in ca) about the plans for the night, and i roll a stop sign less than 400 yards and 2 minutes from where i just got pulled

different cop sees this and pulls me, ask why i am laughing , i say cause i just got pulled, he checks the truck for fireworks and lets me go, again w a happy fourth


so i was kinda lucky

iv got a couple, first, 17 years old, got an S10 with a 383 stroker droped in it. crusin down NC 280 between asheville and brevard, about 10 at night comin back from a football game. boy im bookin, spedo only went to 85 and it was wraped back to zero, the only car a see comin the other way just so happened to be a state trooper in a jeep cherokee, i didnt see him behind me until two countys later. i pull over and comes sliding up infront of me to block me in and pulls me out of the truck handcuffs me throws me and my buddy in the back of his patrol. he thought i was running from him, i just never see him in the rear view. once that was setteled he asked me how fast i was really going. i told him i had no clue because the motor would push the truck over the spedo. he yelled at me. ran my tags and noticed the truck was registered to my father. he new him and wrote me a 88 in a 45. worst part was he called my dad. didnt drive again until i was 18. hahaha.

second one was last year. i had been stationed overeases for a few years and never been home for christmas. decided i was gona suprise everyone back home by showing up christmas eve. well i had to take a flight from aviano italy to balitmore. rented a car (2008 ford focus) hit the road. speed limit completly slipped my mind since i had been overseas for so long, its 3 in the morning and im running as fast as that focus would go. virgina highway partol lights me up and i siddenly remember im not in europe and speed is actully inforced. at the same time im thinkin well guess im never driving through virgina again because i am NOTabout to pay this fine. he asked me for the usual. i haned him my military ID and say "sir im sorry to tell you this but i forgot my other ID at home" he asked where i was coming from, i told him italy, and i was on my way home for christmas and didnt relize i was speeding because i had been overseas for the last 4 years. long story short he tanked me for my service and escorted me to the county line with his lights on doing 80. he pulled off the road in a gas station parking lot. i bought him a coffey thanked him and went back at it.

third was last week, my cousion is a NC state trooper, i call him to chat about guns and hunting, he says he cant talk because he is on partol, i asked him where he was (wink wink) so he tells me not knowing i just picked up my new truck, so when he sees a 2009 ford ranger with overseas plates scream by him doin 95 he about sh!t himself. bastard wrote me a ticket. but he promised if i drove back up for court he would drop it and we would go get some beers afterwards. my idea of a joke backfired into his idea of a joke.

In california, on the freeway interchange 105mph in my stepfathers red vette, the interchange speed limit was 45 I came out at 105 jumped across 4 lanes across the double yellows into the carpool lane, I saw the lights come on as I was accelerating I thought long and hard " this Z06 or that crown vic?" But quickly decided to stop due to motorolla. When all was written I had several violations and was about to get towed. Smooth talking and good sence of humor I he let me go with this massive cite.

Went to court after the traffic court part and pleading not quilty, the judge who looked to be to be very pissed that day called my name I stood up and then called the officers name and he did not show..

Next words I hear "dismissed" I was like I am so lucky then as I am walking out the officer that pulled me over walked up and said "Your welcome"

I have had lots of tickets and that is the only one I won and because of my attitude that day the officer let me ride it the whole time waiting for court and then the break was given.

I go to court and all I got was a $350 fine and no suspension. I was supposed to get a $1000 fine and 3 month suspension. He was an old judge ready to retire.

A few months later I got caught doing a brake stand on private property. They could not bust me for that but they did make me put my car true a saftey inspection which I passed. Ontario safteys are strict they fail brand new cars from the factory.

About ten years ago RCMP (in Alberta) stop me for speeding and I never paid the ticket and it has never showed up in my licence.

I came real close to be in serious trouble last winter. It was right after a good snow and my wife and I were out on the town while the kids were at the grandparents. We were feeling pretty good after dinner and drinks and wanted to drive around a bit. Went down a road near my house. Theres a parking area on the other side of the road across from the high school track field. I decided to get a bit frisky, pulled in there and yanked the e brake a few times. After a couple spins outs, I decided that was enough and continued driving up the road. We circled around a culd-da-sack and came back the way we came. Probably bout not even 5 min after the snow fun. As we passed the parking area, there was a cop sitting there. I imagine someone called it in or he was in the neighborhood. Needless to say, we went straight home!

I have been pulled over by city cops. It was late nite on the weekend and they were checking to see if I was sober. They have followed me in my Stang more than once both city and RCMP and nothing. I have renewed my drivers license and have registered both cube vans, caddy, Areostar, T-Bird, B2, Stang, and my Trike and nothing comes up. For all I know it was tossed out. When and if it shows up I will pay it but for now I am not going to worry about it.

Ok, first back 2 years ago, me and my brother were in his 2001 sable with the duratech, and it had a little gettyup and go, so we used it, we pull out on to the highway and romp on it we are doing 85 in a 55 and we pull up to a 2000's Chevy Impala, and us both being ford men had to show him up...so we floor it again and pass him, and once we hit 110 we figured we should slow up a bit, so we tap the brakes and the impala flys around us in a no passing zone, and a couple seconds later a high-po drives by, he whips a 180 in the middle of the road, me and my brother are just thinkin Sh!t, so we pull over, and the High-po goes straight for the Impala, tells me and my brother to go and gives the Impala a citation

Second, im getting off of work at 11:00 one night, im in my brothers 2000 ranger (he traded the sable for the ranger) and of course me being a young kid with a loud truck, i have to make sure everybody knows im there, so i pull up to a stop light roast the tires a little bit and when it turns green im gone, 65 in a 30, as im going down the road i see a crown vic and im just like "oh grandpa's out late with the Vic" but no, its a unmarked car, and i fly right by him. He pulls out after me we pull over and he comes up , and he says "your lucky that im on my way home and its late, im going to let you off with a verbal warning this time, but if i see you being stupid again you wont be so lucky" so he pulls away and i drive like a grandma the whole way home.

got pulled again this weekend in abbyville SC doin 55 in a 35 pullin a boat. had my face buried in the GPS trying to figure out where the eff i needed to turn and i missed the 35 sign about the time i relized it was 55 so did the police leaving the wa hos. i was still in uniform beacuse i bolted from work to make this 6 hour drive. he walk up asked me a few (shoot the sh!t) questions. told me he clocked me doin 55, i told him what happeded, didnt BS him and he told me to keep it down and have a safe weekend. still made the "six hour drive" in five hours and got pulled. could have made it under 5. gota love those back roads

I was driving thru upstate NY in 2003 on the way to Toronto. Was doing about 85 MPH. Sate Trooper pulled me over. Had me dead to rights. When he talked to me he asked if I had a clean driving record. I told him I did. He came back and to my surprise wrote me up for a $35 ticket for not having on my seatbelt which I did have on. He gave me a real break. Ticketed me and sent me a message, but didn't give me what could easily have been a $500+ ticket plus points that could have been assessed against my license. I'll always be grateful to that trooper.

Got pulled over in WY on I-80 doing 132 (redlined in 5th) on my bike. Cop gave me a break because he thought my bike was "Frickin Awesome".(redneck accent)
