What's left?

I replaced every vacuum line now, disconnecting the IAC doesn't really change anything, I'm thinking that since the orange and white wires join at some point the ECM must have something internally wrong like a solder point with corrosion or something. I ohmed out the harness from the ECM to the TPS and MAP sensor (with the ECM unplugged of course) and it was fine. I also ohmed the computer ground which also was fine. I sprayed some carb cleaner stuff around the vacuum lines as well to test for a leak and nothing happened. Is there a way to reset the TPS? When I adjusted the screw to get .9 volts it was smashing the spring so I adjusted it back to where screw just starts to move the plate. It Idles kind of low.

For what it's worth....

Check the oil, (as in, check it for a gas smell, and being thinner than when you put it in). I've been chasing a problem for 6 months, only to find out the other evening (through this forum) that the fuel regulator was leaking fuel into the vacuum line.

It set tones of codes, AND the gas mileage was real bad, as well as the truck would do stupid things at random, and all sorts of weird stuff.

Greg

EDIT: some one kick me please.... (just re-read the result above) :icon_surprised:
