What's a 92 Mustang rolling chassis worth???

Odd, they are all called F-Body's according to that link. And may I give a big :icon_surprised::drool: to the link you provided? Wow!

Late 90's to early 00's. I was going to school out there in '03 and '04 when they were out in force.

I can't see a Crown Vic or even a foxbody keeping up with one.

It doesn't take much for a Fox to keep up. In my opinion, and I am shooting from the hip, but the fact they are a huge PITA to work on played a role. They are fast cars, but I don't think I could own one just for that fact.

The amount of ease that is required to work on a car plays a biiiiig role. Perhaps this is why I'm such an avid advocate of RWD cars; too much is required to change a water pump on a Honda these days. I mean, it can be done, but it's more than what I'm willing to do sometimes. The same goes for belts, wheel bearings, and the like.

Yea, F-bodies had quite a run. The Fox design ran for quite some time, too. I haven't worked on those cars too much, but upgrading headers on a weren't crazy to install on t late 90's Trans Am wasn't too bad.

The SSP were quick back in the day, and appreciating them for what they were (in their stock form) is still a pleasure, I would imagine. I'm still surprised that the SSP had the stocker 7.5".

I wonder what Jim's plan of action is now...

I have a chance (offer) to pick up a 1990 SSP from Texas, now in St Louis, for $1,000. No motor or trans, but has title. Car was a Frisco Texas police car. It was an auto. I'd like to have a manual. How hard is that to convert??

Could turn it in to this:

Had someone offer me a running 1988 Texas DPS car for $3,500.

Can't find the 83-86 style Fox SSP. Did find a solid regular 1986 notch Mustang that I could convert to a SSP clone though to look like the Kentucky cars.
