A few months ago I got a pair of explorer D35 and 8.8 with a LS in the back and 3.73 gears to go in my ranger (will be regearing to 4.88 for 33's), but I also just recently acquired an explorer for the female counterpart, turns out it's open in the back and has 3.55 gears. The explorer is most likely going to stick with 235's or 31's.
so, should I swap the 3.73 axles to the explorer (simple pumpkin swap for the front) and use those to regear for the ranger along with a luchbox locker? or should I just leave the explorer as it is and do as planned for the ranger? I was planning for sometime in the future to go with a disk brake rear axle and pumpkin swap for the front to get it to a more reasonable setup (playing with the LS in the first explorer I got I know I need one in everything
