What was your 1st car?

1979 Pontiac Sunbird. Bought it in Portland, OR in 1992 for $100, drove it home to Salem (and had to stop 3 times to put more oil in it), rebuilt the entire motor, dealt with the sometimes horrible transmission leak for 40,000 miles. Gave it to my brother in 1995 and bought a beautiful 89 Bronco II XLT with 32,000 miles on it. Had some form of RBV ever since.

My first was an 85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I don't know which motor it had in it, but it got 10-12 mpg and still ran like crap with a top speed of about 80. It threw a rod through the oil pan on the way to drop my girlfriend off one day. To its credit, it made it the last mile or so with no oil and missing a piston :thefinger:

I loved this car, she was awesome, was only a v6 but I could bury the needle on the speedo and it was smooth as glass on the expressway.

She was an originally an arizona car owned by a little old lady, then her grandson got it, proceeded to molest it, then their uncle then me. I rebuilt the carb, replaced the entire brake system, replaced the top, sand blasted and coated the underbody, and removed the cat and put on a dynoflow exhuast, and then intended on replacing the interior when i got in an accident and bent the strut, I ended up having to sell it to my dad whose doing a "frame off" and dropping a 5.0 in. After I sold it I got my ranger, I do miss the drop top though, this was the first year they brought it back and ford actually out sourced the top to an aftermarket company this year.
