My credo
Fortune Favors the Brave
I really like my rims
Eagle alloy 063, but since im going for the white with black setup, i would love some black rims, and i dont wanna paint them.

Since a while ive been hunting for a set of soft8 or d windows(not sold new around here) i tracked a set of softs, but they are sold, and then a set of d windows, but they were for F150 and sold too.
I saw a set of white wagon wheels, that ill be checking tomorrow

i still dont know if they even fit my truck.

The point is: my brother wants my rims, and he offered to trade his rims for any set i find so i give him my eagles. since his truck has chrome bumpers it would look nice.

Now if i cant find a set of rims, what do u think about this:

Paint my brother rims in black, and go to a machine shop to make a small spacer to make em sit like the eagles do? they are 15x7, and his oem rims are 15x7 too. but as u know the Ranger rims wont sit past the fender.
the rims he has:

Would it be safe to use spacers? considering i use my truck for driving off pavement and use big(compared to stock) tires?

spacers are plenty safe, IF YOU GET GOOD ONES... i know lots of people that run them. a 1" spacer won't hurt anything, and will give you some offset.

i say go for it

I would get em made in case i do it, a machine shop could make them.

It is one more thing that can fail, (NOT saying they will of course) but why add one more thing that can fail for the sake of looks? Plus, if you are loading your truck down constantly with chicken shit, thats additional load.

If you use Loctite and make sure stay tight, the spacers should be okay.

As for the wheels, anything but the white wagon wheels. Those are :bad::bad::bad::bad:

Thats why the spacers arent a good idea imo, but i want to keep the looks it has.

what if i paint em black?

as long as you get away from those dang chrome over used everyone has eagle's... i'll be glad

Who is even going to notice besides you?

Notice what? the black rims?

ive seen a few trucks using spacers because of a different patter on swapped axles.
i was thinking abut a 1" spacer or 3/4.
are those things really that unsafe?

If by chance the wagon wheels fit, ill try to get em and paint em.
