What to look for in a stock turbo to use

I am going to the junk yard this week. what kind of turbo should I look for. what car or truck to get one off of. What other parts should I grab. I have been after this project for a long time and it has been put on the back burner lately because of school. I graduated and starting this project so any help would be greatly appreciated.
