My vote will always be for a 300 swap.

If you want to get fancy, do some kind of efi conversion and compound turbos feeding a supercharger.

Diesels are overrated.

Yes the 351 is a tried and true swap but it yeilds good results without a whole lot of thought lol.

Although someone just mentioned a 300 which while a decent amount of work is different and still a cool swap.

Just stay away from LS's and bread truck/foreign diesels. Please. That truck deserves better.

Actually...why dont you just restore it back to factory? Thats a pretty novel idea among these parts.

A 2jz-gte would be way better than a 300 If it's an inline 6. A reliable 600ish hp with not much more than a bigger turbo and more fuel.. hell yeah.
