I'm gonna be getting 600 bucks in the next week or so and decided I'm gonna get my lift with that money. My question is what lift should I get. I'm gonna go 63 inch chevys in the back with belltechs so I only need the front lift components. I want to get a 6 inch kit. Should I buy a used kit or fork up the money for a new kit. The problem with a new kit is that they're in the 700-800 range and I only have 600. I really want to go with a skyjacker kit but the superlift kits look good as well.:dunno:

skyjacker is probably gonna be your best bet if you want a "kit"

i say buy skyjacker brackets for your TTB. some skyjacker superflex 6" springs. custom extend your radius arms and frame mounts (or buy the stonecrusher extension things). custom make your drop brackets for your sway bar(if you don't ditch it). then get the stonecrusher or superrunner steering and extended brake lines. piece together your own kit. i don't think i missed anything?

any kit you order is lacking something, it might be the fact it has super stiff springs, or bad drop brackets, or sucky steering.. or all the above (like RC, but i can't complain to much. i've beat on my rough country lift a good bit w/ no damage. but if i was to do it over-- i would not buy the RC again, hell, i'd actually not waste the money on TTB and just SAS'ed to begin w/. but that's just my 2cents)

I'm starting to lean twoards getting a used skyjacker kit. I've done some reading and I'm thinking of getting 8 inch coils on 6 inch drop brackets? Opinions?

Shane, He has realized that nobody wants to buy the truck for that price. I just picked up a nice 2000 4x4, ext door ext cab 4.0 4x4 off-road package for not much more than what he wanted. Myself, I'd take half that money and put it away and "blow" the rest. That's really want it amounts to throwing money at trucks. Been there, still doing it.

All of that must have been in a thread I didn't catch. Nice call on keeping it man. I've always had a really hard time selling cars - the Fords anyway (I was happy to see my Audi, Subaru, and Cadillac leave).
