Ok, guys. Two questions I need to ask all of you.
First question: I want to ask for some help on mounting my Gen Rright hood louvers
on my 99 Ranger. I would like them on the hood or on the fenders very near the fender flares. I might have to trim them to fit against the flares and that will be a no big deal. The would mount to the area where the XLT badges are. I will have to trim out some metal as per the instructions and then they rivet into place with the black rivet kit included. Now...if I put them on the hood as I have seen on other trucks and Jeeps..where would be the ideal place to mount them? I know when you cut out some metal water will get in some. So where do you think the best are to mount them will be? Here is a photo of the ones I bought last Christmas.
Second question: I have been looking at light bars for Rangers and really can't find one I like. I found this one and it fits Ford trucks...just not our Ranger. I was wondering if anyone on this website can make something like this to fit into the area between my font receiver? See the photos below of the light bar and the shot of my Ranger's receiver hitch. I would like to mount it on the two areas where there is a metal area (the fog lights have been removed since I took this shot last year). There seems to be enough metal to bolt two bolts through and I do not know what those mounts are called (something to do with the bumper being mounted to it?).
Here is the place I want to bolt it to. Just to the outside of the receiver area there are those two metal brackets and I think the light bar can be bolted to that area. What do you guys think??
Thanks, guys
