The only thing worse that driving the living piss out of an engine and not maintaining it is to let it sit in a humid environment for a year without doing a thing to it.

The engine is a boat anchor. It will be more of a pain than it is worth, unless it is free, or very close to it.

it was goin for 200, but im gonna stick with the bronco for now and i just explained whi i think it happaned in my build thread after i took apart thefilter and hose..

BTW, if the wiring harness was burnt, when i turn her over would all the power work, like the fuel pump, door buzzer, etc.?

Depending on what part of the harness was burned...the internal stuff usually runs through the dash and does not go out through the firewall so you could still have door chimes and other things working...the harness is actually split between what is needed inside the cab and the business end in the engine comparment...and then it splits again for lights and other things like the washer fluid pump...

If your engine doesn't crank or you get no spark you may just need to replace the harness under the hood...

yeah? it sounds bad ass but i dunno what ill be getting myself into, its hasnt been running in years, most work i done on a diesel was regular maintance with my ol man on his freightliner
