My 94 b4000 has push rods that have a small plastic cup on the block end of the rod where they contact the cam rollers. one of them is cracked what are they called and am I able to get one?

You should have hydraulic lifters in that OHV engine. I don't know what is inside the hydraulic lifter but if it is plastic, I doubt you can just replace the plastic piece. You should replace the entire hydraulic lifter and while you are in there it might be a good idea to replace all of them. I can't see anything wrong with replacing only one but it should save you from having to do it again when another one fails.

Are you talking about the lifters? I would imagine any parts store can get you them.

Tappets! thats what their called, anyway each tappet has a small plastic dish that snaps on to the top of it where it meets the push rod. Whoever rebuilt this thing before me must have messed that one up cause the rest are fine and the rebuild only has about 12,000 on it. I assume the little dish is to help with oil distribution around the tappet cause that tappet shows a little wear and the pushrod for it is fine. Sposta go to the dealer today and show him what I need. hopefully I can get one.

That cup is more of an assembly aid than a critical part.

It keeps the pushrod from slipping out of the lifter when installing the rocker shaft.
