I have a 99 2x4 extended cab xlt 3.0. I want to install new springs and shocks in the front, and new leaves and shocks in the back. I was wondering what years of rangers are compatible with what years. I was going to search around here for someone that had a near stock suspension that they took off to install a lift and might have all the parts that I need for a fair price. BTW the only place that I could find new leaf springs was from ford.

Thanks

well as far as i know a 2x4 in piece of lumber and doesn't require a suspension. you should be able to get a 2wd suspension from anybody that sells kits. do you want to stay stock, go bigger, more travel, what do you want to do?

as far as I know the 2wd (except the edge) were the same (or close) from 1983 to 2001.
