Hey guys, it's me again. I just did a 8.8 swap on my 1990 and noticed that the shocks i have that came with my lift aren't long enough when the suspension is at full droop in the back. Does anyone know what shock I should get to take care of the problem? It seems to be about three inches too short.
Thanks in advance,
chaz.

(p.s.) 1990 super cab 2.9L 4x4 skyjacker 6'' class 2. with 8.8 rear end.

Remove your shocks and flex it out fully. Measure full extended and full collapsed lengths, then look through some shock charts and order ones that are the correct length. Then you know you are getting the right length shock to let your suspension perform as best as it can.

Here's a copy of a shock chart I found on the H.A.M.B. I can't remember who did all the work [ a very big thank you to whom ever it was!!! ] but it's helped me out a few times. A good auto parts-person can cross reference for you.
