I recently got done changing the rear leaves out with 63" Chevys with 2" blocks. The 4" rough country lift that I bought used has shocks with it that in sure work fine for length, but they're shot. What shocks do I need to replace them with? Length, part no, brand etc...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used the same shocks that I had in orignal lift as well. They work fine but once I took the overload leaf out it seemed it required stiffer shock definitely if you drive on the street. You said the legnth looked good on what you had so any 4 inch lift shock for a Ranger should fit the bill. Unless you tuned the leaf pack then I would say you need to call around for something a little stiffer

Ok so I call the parts house and ask for a 4" lift shock for an 89 ranger? I didn't know if I need to know the overall length or not.
