im going to lift my ranger using explorer leafs in the rear and skyjacker 2 inch leveling coils in the front. i also want to purchase new shocks though. i have heard i need two different model #s for the the front and rear but what model numbers are the shocks? thanks.

That might help.

These are Skyjacker part numbers for 2" of lift. Other manufacturers are specified in the chart.

The stock rear shocks should be fine. The stock ones are used all the way up to a 6" lift according to the chart. Part number H7060 or replace the H with an N for nitros.

H7052's for the front. Again if you want nitros (gas charged) just replace the leter H with an N.

And yes you need two different model numbers because the front and rear shocks have different mounting styles, stem versus eye-loop, respectively.
