NOPE, you are all wrong. That is the 4wd module. It is what controls the shift motor on the transfer case.
It is VERY good to know where that is. There is a reset button next to the red light, If your transfer case quits shifting the first thing to check is that red light.

You beat me to it. I was going to tell him to take it out and see if his four wheel drive worked then.

And just for reference sake, that module is the same for b2 and exploders at least up to 94.(just located in different spots)
