what mpg should i get?

finally did an mpg check. 2.9 with automatic. getting 17 mpg.
is this good?

Yes. I generally got 13-14 with my pushrod 4.0, town. I think 17 sounds great for the 2.9.

17 sounds about right for a 2.9.

Mine got 17.5 most of its life. I did a little performance and tune up work and got it to 21, doing mostly highway. Then they introduced this E10 BS and right back to 17 I went.

Rusty #1 used to get 21, mostly highway though.
Havent checked Rusty #2 but im guessin its in that neighboorhood, both are 5speeds though.
