Pretty sure I'm running the Napa ones on my '97 but it might just be one and one random one I had on hand. On the '90 I think it's just the cheapest Rock Auto mounts I found or something, I think they're all about the same, don't think I've had a bad solid mount yet but all the factory hydraulic's I've had have broken. You sure feel more vibration in the solid rubber ones but they're fine... With the abuse I put things through not having a failure I'd say they're fine.. nothing to write home about but whatever...

What’s the deal with the solid rubber ones having more vibration? I have the $65 ones from O’Reilly’s and actually had a little less vibration with my original motor mounts that were broken.

From my experience Anchor brand mounts are junk. I bought a set of Mustang mounts by Anchor from Napa and they wouldn't even bolt to the engine because the holes were in the wrong place. In the past I had a set that actually bolted on and the vibration was awful. I replaced them with Ford mounts and the problem was fixed. I'd avoid any cheap mounts, you'll quickly forget the $5 you saved and the vibration will aggravate you every day.

I'm not sure if it's the mounts that are the vibration on my '97, both my 2.3L rangers have solid mounts and the '90 is smoother than the '97 I think... I kinda wonder if the '97 has a sunk valve or something but whatever, it runs fine and gets right around 25mpg...

Thats what ive been seeing online, ive decided to go with the sigma ones from autozone. They're expensive but i want a smooth ride as possible haha. Maybe ill make a review post (if its allowed) because i cant find any reviews on sigma mounts.
