What is your rpm @55???

With my 302/ c-4 setup running a 4.56 gear, I am about 2700 rpm's at 55. Just wondering what everyone is running......The bottom end is great, but the gas mileage is killing me.....

What size tire you running? I am just curious because that's not alot of RPM.

With 4.10 gears and 255/60/15 tires (27" dia.) I should be turning 2808 rpms in drive and 1965 in O/D.

Your rpm is correct if your rear tires are about 31" in diameter.

With a C4 you will have some converter slip. How accurate is your tach? With no slipage you should be turning about 2400 rpm if your tires truely are 35" tall.
