My 2000 ford ranger v6 4.0L OHV
Back story here: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2864998
addtional back story: The dealership left my trucks parts in the back un covered while i saved the money to pay them for the work they did. This included my valve covers, coil pack, intake...
Now i bought new bolts for tons of stuff (the dealer ship lost some parts...) Got new heads, a gasket kit. Clean a bunch of stuff with gas and acetone.
So tonight its ready to start the truck. Of course the battery is dead so we charge that up. It then starts but doesnt idol right. Turns out i switched two plugs on the coil pack. Put those back together and start it again. But it doesnt run right. It back fires and kinda rumbles(basicly sounds fine idoling but the truck shakes a little)
My friend suggested it could be a sensor in the intake that is dirty and isnt reading the air flow right. So my next step would be to clean that sensor or just buy a new one.
If anyone has an idea what it could be doing, it would be very helpful.
