2000 Ford ranger can somebody tell me what this is... Shouldn't there be a line connected to it or something
 
Thats where the PCV valve should be.
 
someone made their own fitting from the air compressor fittings, is my guess, ha ha ha
 
It’s a Schrader valve ( fuel pressure test port).
 
Oooh yeah. Had to zoom in further to see it was on the rail.. PCV is buried under the manifold
 
Thank you all very much finally figured out it is the Schrader valve and found the cover on the ground LOl
