Hi everyone, just bought a 2003 Ranger XL with 283k and looking for a hand identifying the electrical component in the picture. The bracket holding it to the intake will need to be replaced. Thank you!

Its connector C110

It's a main connection for a ton of stuff so there is no specific use or name for it. Its just labeled as connector C110....

You do not need to use an OEM bracket. You can be as creative as you wish and make a replacement bracket however you want. A source for parts of this vintage would be a local boneyard, or perhaps a you-pull junkyard.

And FYI it's the same bracket even back to 1998. I just checked the one on my 2000 2.5 and while the plug is different, the bracket is the same on my 2009 2.3.
