I have a 1/2 hole on my passenger side dash located to the side of my defrost vent. Whats it for? Is there a chance what ever goes there fell down the hole? Thanks

^ I agree...without ever having seen the inside of a newer Ranger for any length of time...

And it could be a diffuser...or...it could have been the passenger eject button...but I think those were on the driver side...so maybe it was used and you have to replace the eject button...get one that says "do not touch this button" and you're bound to entice them to ejeculate themselves...

I think you mean "eject themselves", unless you're into some freaky stuff...I'm not judging...:shok:

Hey, it'd fit right in with the title of this thread.

Yupyup! :-) I have the same thing on my dash. Tried to load a pic but the upload failed. I don't know what it is either.

If it's the hole I'm thinking of in the defroster grill panel, it's where the sun load sensor would be if it was an Explorer with elecronic temp. control. The Ranger and Explorer share dash parts. The little grille between the pass. airbag and the radio bezel is also for Explorer EATC applications. It's where the interior temp sensor would be.

You're probably on to something there. It's in a perfect spot for a sun load/interior temp sensor if there was one.
