what is this code/sensor

I also have a 1993 ranger XLT with a 4.0 & 5 speed manual.The problem with this one is an intermittent check engine light. When the light is on & it's put on the computer,the code that comes up is throttle snap sensor.WTF! No one I've talked knows what that code means or what this sensor is. Does anyone on this forum know what this code is & how to erase it? thanx,tom48

TPS codes are 23, 53, 63

Throttle snap usually refers to a test mode
