hey i was wondering if someone could tell me what this green switch is on my 2002 ford ranger?! the light turns on even when the truck is off, thanks!

Looks like a custom switch, maybe fog lights? maybe it does nothing but stay lit up? I don't understand, what happens when you push it on?

lol joke. maybe fog lights? or interior lights, such as neon bars and stuff.
look under the dash, cuz thats an aftermarket switch.

Rockets or machine guns or a relay under the hood. Hopefully machine guns. But you could just trace the wires off it

Someone probably had lights on it at one time, and having a hole in there looks worse than having a switch there, so they probably just left it... there isn't any holes in the bumper is there? Or any marks from a grille guard?

as said its probably for lights but if the light stays on no matter if the switch is on or off then it is wired wrong ir light is on what ever the switch goes to is on lol
