That is a connector and it plugs into the RF capacitor. Where is your capacitor?
 
Its a 2000. Just got the truck with blown motor and swapped in 4.0 out of 2000 B4000. It runs fine I just dont see anywhere for it to go and that kind of crap bothers me

I agree with adsm, thats where a capacitor fits on mine. It runs fine without? Thats wild, I would not think that it would work without it.
Best find one and plug it in, I would imagine that it is hard on your ignition module to run it without one.
 
rf, or flux? are you guys sure it's an rf capacitor?
