um really need more info on what kind of truck it is, what year, 4 or 2 wheel drive, what engine, and what your plans are for the truck. But the general consensus is that skyjacker pretty much makes the toughest, strongest bolt on lift. although there lots of people on this board with lots of kinds of lifts that all work good.
Sorry its a 94 ranger stx 4x4 4.0 im not sure of the plans yet I no right now I want to get it lifted and bigger tires and I was lookin to do the sas on the front. I was lookin at the skyjacker 8in lift but just wanted other peoples in put
Well, you need to decide if you want to SAS or not then, because buying a lift for the stock setup will be a waste after you remove it all for a straight beam axle suspension.
Have you looked through the lift reviews sticky post put right at the top here?
yeah ive been doin alot of looking around I was thinking the skyjacker 8in lift then I was goin to go with a 3in body lift but Do you guys think I should do the sas Im not really goin to be goin offroading much thats what I have a quad for
thats what i see most people have I think 8in might be overkill I have plans in like 5 years or so to put ford fullsize truck axles under it. Is possible to do the sas on the d35 I think thats what I have up front
Read, research, read some more, and then some more. All I can say...
The Extreme suspensions section here is probably the best place to start if SAS is what you want. Also check out the Rangers Under Construction section here too.
