Its time for some new tires and this will be my first new set ive put on this truck.

its a 2002 2wd 2.3L, and im gonna buy a in inch rear/3 inch front lift for it. Whatcha think would go on then? Im not trying to max out what I can do. I was hoping to get some treadwrights on it, but they have limited sizes.

would a 31/10.5/15 be too much ya think?
would a 30/9.5/15 fit the stock rim?
235/75/15....?

I just have no idea what im gonna do yet. I also thought about getting a pair of factory jeep wheels off craigslist since i hate the ranger steelies. Anyone ever dont that before?

Thanks guys

If you go with a 3in lift the 31x1050r15 will be fine, if you stay stock the 235/75r15 would be best. As long as your bolt pattern are the same as the jeeps (should be 5x4.5) then the rims should fit.

235/75x15 and 30/9.50x15 are essentially the same size. usually less than a half inch difference in height between manufacturers. both will fit your stock rims just fine.
don't forget to check either your door sticker or the axle tag to see what gears you're running. for the 31/10.50x15's you'll be wanting 3.73 gears at a minimum. 4.10's will get you closer to stock performance. for the 235's or 30/9.5's then the 3.73's should be ok.
