What is normal compression?

I just checked my ranger compression 2.9 L and got 85psi cold put some oil in cyl and got 125 psi. I think 125 is OK any one have any idea what "normal" is??
Anyhow looks like bad rings!! :sad::sad:

u ideally want compression to be above 150 on all cylinders, what u could try that really seems to help is at most autoparts stores they have RESTORE, which comes in a silver can,it seems to get the job done at atleast post poning the inevitable
 
No restore here. I'll fix it right. Pulling motor out as we speak for quick rebuild. And switching to 5.0L in winter. Anyone have a Zf 5 or 6 speed for sell?
