What Happened to the Trucks in Stock Photos?

Is anyone aware of a way of finding out more information of trucks that were used in stock photos? I'm curious as to what happened to them... and just more details beyond what can be inferred from the photos.

Preproduction trucks are usually "recycled"

Early production are cycled into the market as a used truck.

So then the truck in the photo was probably sold off privately and may still be alive somewhere?

I had a 95 with a similar stripe package. Nice truck but the computer kept going nuts.
