What group size battery?

My teenage son bought two 93 rangers. His 16th is coming up and it is time to buy a new battery. Virtually everywhere on the internet says it is a group 65. I have looked at them at walmart, measured them and there is no way in hell a group 65 will fit in either of the stock battery trays. Somewhere I thought I saw that it is a group 58R.
Does anyone know for sure, or is there a battery tray that will accept a group 65?

65 is 12 x 7.5 x 7.5 approx.

If current battery is smaller then get that size

58 or 58R is 10 x 7.5 x 7 approx.
